Old School B&B Super King Exclusive 5 Room private suite

I think it is safe to say everything was excellent. The venue was great, the location was spectacular, and the host really helpful and knowledgeable about the local area, and wider afield to. I coluldn't fault anything.

The place is amazing, in a quiet and lovely part of the Orkney Islands (Burray) in which there are not many tourists. The place is very big and equipped with all the necessities one might need. Janice is a super host, very friendly and with many advices on what to do (we managed to see seals in seashores nearby). With Janice, we had a really nice chat both in the evening and in the morning. Although we are vegan and did not notified, Janice managed to prepare a tasty breakfast. Indeed a must stay when visiting the Islands. Hope to come back there very very soon!

As i arrived Janice was incredibly welcoming. The room surpassed my expectations, very quiet, clean and i really enjoyed the whole atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely return if available. 10 out of 10. Thank you Janice, although i was there for work, you made me feel if i was on holiday.

Our experience at Janice’s place has been wonderful. Her house is super cute and Janice is the perfect host. She is able to make you feel at home with a delicious breakfast and a nice chat in the meanwhile. The room is actually an apartment: extremely clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. If we could give more than 10 to this review, we would do it, for sure.

Unfortunately we stayed only 2 nights… but this is our fault!

Perfect place, exceeded expectations. The host was so kind when our early morning ferry was cancelled… offered us coffee and toast if we would like… Recommended a lovely place for lunch.. Thank you for the kindness you showed us. Would stay here again if ever I return to Orkney

Excellent B&B, you have a full suite of private rooms which are all tastefully furnished and properly cleaned. Everything that you need is provided. Janice, the host, was excellent, she looked after us superbly during our stay at the old school, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was outstanding, plenty of choice. Would highly recommend staying here.
