A very friendly owner who really takes care of her guests. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. The room with a balcony is spacious, clean, a really nice place to enjoy.

Lovely little Homestay just 5 minute walk from the beach. Comfortable beds and a great breakfast. Run by a lovely woman, we organised an external river safari but it was possible to do this through the Homestay as well.

Wimala's was our second stop on our holiday in Sri Lanka and remained a favourite for the rest of our trip! Wimala is the sweetest host and was so so helpful (her son was also so kind and helpful, taking us in his tuktuk to our river tour (and telling us about the tour in the first place!)) The property is in the perfect location, set just a street back from the station and close to the beach. The house is surrounded by papaya, mango and coconut trees and feels like a truly authentic Sri Lankan home. Our stay here was amazing; Wimala's cooking is incredible!! (we are missing it dearly!) Thank you so much for you and your family's hospitality, we will most definitely be seeing you again (hopefully soon)! Take care and thank you for everything!

Cozy room with neat kitchen nearby. Great hostess, made us feel comfortable and helped with hot water for our daughter. Very nice breakfast too!

The huge taste breakfast and the great host Wimala madam. She is very nice and always takes care of her guests. Oneday we went out for sight seeing at Hikkaduwa keeping our washed clothes outside for drying under sunrays, in the meantime suddenly rain started. But Wimala madam takes our all clothes under sheds of her own. Thanks her a lot for her super support. This property is very near to Bentota Sea beach, only 3/4 minutes walking. Free washing machine facility is available.Tuktuk / car hire facility is also available for sight seeing, bus stop drop or transfer to Airport with extra cost. Many good restaurants are within 2 minutes walking distance for Lunch & Dinner. In fact, we didn't need Lunch after having huge breakfast from Wimala madam. 😊
