Alone, the apartments are probably like many others that you can find in the area. However, it's the wonderful host 'Wimala' who makes this an exceptional place to stay. What a wonderful lady, she is so devoted to looking after her guests, she really will do anything for you! As for the many amazing reviews about the breakfast, I really cannot argue...a wonderful selection of fruits, noodles, spicy onion, toast, marmalade, samosa and more! Really cannot recommend Wimala BB enough! Thank you, Wimala! Ps .look out for chipmunks and mongoose from the balcony! Amazing to see!

Wimala is exceptional, so kind, she makes you feel home

Good stay .Near the beach.

Wimala is an amazing person, hosting, cleaning, cooking and warmly welcoming the guests by herself. She's got some good language skills and will astound you with kind gestures. The homestay is in the background of the fancy beach side resorts but only a 2 minute walk from the beach, quiet, surrounding garden. I only booked one night as a pitstop on the scooter between Negombo and Thalpe so I took the smallest room, which can be quite hot. Wimala brought me a remote fan to help with that. And oh, the breakfast was AMAZING!

for that price and this host there is really nothing to say. More comfort is for another budget, it's as simple as that.

the location was great, just a few minutes walk to the beach and the train station. the room was a decent size for two of us, and the bathroom was really clean. Wilama was also super friendly. thanks for a great stay

I enjoyed the peaceful and chill atmosphere. Also liked having breakfast on the terrace. I stayed in the big room upstairs which had a good working AC. The breakfast was enjoyable, i always choose sri lankan options. The Lady that runs the place is very friendly and helpful. My two nieces that stayed with me also really enjoyed staying here.

Wimala Aunty was the most lovely host - she looked after me like I was her own family 💕 so grateful to have met her and stayed with her in her home x would highly recommend the B and B - the food is excellent and it's a really good location 🙂 thank you so much Aunty for your hospitality - I hope to come and stay with you again in the future 💕

Wonderfull people with delicious breakfast and with very good location.

Less privacy in the room due to big windows with only translucent curtains. People walking around room can saw me in bed.
