We had an overall pleasant stay. Communication with the host was easy, mostly through WhatsApp, and the excursions we booked via them were enjoyable and well arranged.

On our last day I think the staff should have had a little more respect for guests’ privacy.

Perfect Stay in the Heart of the City Everything was absolutely perfect! The hotel is located right in the city center, making it easy to explore everything on foot. Breakfast is served in a cozy little café just across the street, where you’ll find delicious coffee and freshly baked pastries — a lovely way to start the day. Communication with the hotel staff was excellent — they were available anytime via WhatsApp and always incredibly friendly and helpful. The room had everything I needed, and the coffee provided by the hotel was simply amazing. The hotel had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a washing machine and a refrigerator, which were especially important for us. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and an unbeatable location!

The only downside was the parking — it wasn’t very convenient and could definitely be improved.

We just love Catania and this was our first time staying at B&B Miti dell Etna. What a fun and wonderful experience to stay in this lively, colorful part of Catania. Every single review mentioned how wonderful, helpful and welcoming host Tiziana is... so here is another mention of her... without exception, she is an amazing Super Host who makes you feel welcomed and special. She is professional, accommodating, super friendly and makes sure you are well taken care of and comfortable. Our room, Number 4, is one of several on the same floor complex including a common kitchen with clothes washer and balcony with close line. So so clean, organized and equipped with everything you need for cooking. The cleaning ladies, Mrs Silvana and Mrs Mariella keep these rooms and kitchen sparkling clean and equipped for your comfort. We had a problem with the bathroom sink in Room 4. Tiziana insisted we move over to Room 3 for our comfort. We loved Room 4 so much she made sure everything was fixed promptly so we could stay. We enjoyed the balcony so much, day and night, we didn't want to change one thing. Our balcony overlooked the best, largest and most fun marketplace in all of Italy. Catania's local marketplace is full of fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, and street food... as well as clothing and houseware. Not to mention the amazing designer lines of purses, shoes and clothing. And towering over it all is Mt Etna as a backdrop. The sounds of the marketplace is our favorite with the calls of the fish market vendors and hustle bustle of the shoppers. When you leave the apartment you literally step out into the marketplace. If you want to experience a true local feel of the wonderful people of Catania, don't hesitate to book this BnB. The location is walking distance to all Catania has to offer. One block over is Via Etnea the main street through all the beautiful piazzas and shopping districts.

There is nothing we didn't like about this property.

For us, this was the perfect place to explore Catania. It was quiet, everything was close by, and there was a market right outside the building where you could buy almost anything – it was a phenomenal experience. Just a few minutes' walk to good bars and restaurants. We felt safe even at night (although we usually returned before 11 p.m.). The room was perfectly clean, with fresh bed linen every 3 days and new towels every 2 days. The kitchen was well equipped, and the bed was comfortable. The only minor annoyance was the shower, which occasionally turned on hot water for just a second. No cockroaches (which we unfortunately encountered in Bari) or any other unpleasant surprises. I genuinely recommend this place :)

It's basically a hostel. Ok if that's what you want. Photos make it seem like that's not the case

The parking outside was not available and we had to go to parking lot , not a big problem

All things were perfectly. Very good communication with the host. Room was clean , kitchen annex with free coffee. Walking distance to historic centre.

The market starts early morning, sounds woke you up, but we are in Sicily that’s normal. I’m a not fussy person, no problem for me. Good experience.
