We were in the area for a specific event and needed accommodation for a couple of nights due to the travelling involved from Scotland. In the Tomahawk we found a gem. Excellent, friendly staff, superb food in the restaurant and with breakfast included, it was very good value for money. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

The room was clean and spacious but could do with some TLC. For the price including the lovely breakfast it was good value for money.

There was a bit of an odd feel to the place, the staff were friendly and the food great but something felt a bit off. They seemed paranoid about us leaving without paying but didn’t take payment on arrival or in advance. Maybe they’ve had bad experiences in the past. Some of the interactions between staff were quite unprofessional. It didn’t bother us but might offensive to some people.

Good place just problem with bath and taps when arriving

Superb stay and really tasty quality food. Clean and spacious room. Good night's sleep. Staff were friendly and very good service.

Fab staff and rooms. The stairs up to the rooms had an awful smell, not sure what it was the corridor would also have benefited from a paint and a carpet clean. Food was excellent and the staff were lovely.
