The Old School B&B

Excellent breakfast, good location

The room was an excellent size and perfect for our overnight stop. The family who run it were lovely and also helpful when we were later checking in than we had expected. Breakfast was delicious. The location was quiet but literally only a couple of minutes off the M6 so incredibly easy to access. The location also made it easy when travelling with a dog because once out of the front door there was a track that took you up onto the fells.

The room was exactly what you'd expect from a cosy B& B with an excellent shower room ensuite. the Wifi was very quick, especially for a free service, much quicker than big name budget hotels.

While nice to wake up to, the curtain did not stop the sunrise beaming through the window at 5 30 in the morning.

Good location. Very friendly - enjoyed the cooked breakfast each morning!
