A unique ranch house, lovely hosts, who told us about their interesting life iin the area. Lovely and very comfortable room with a lot of character.. a beautiful landscape from the yard, the oner is a coock and the diner was very good . He also gave us explanations about very nice places to visit around..

While our visit was regrettably brief, the impression left by this delightful retreat is lasting. The level of excellence in hospitality far exceeded our expectations. From communication beforehand to our final goodbye, every moment of our experience with Cascina Canee was impeccable. We had dinner at Cascina Canee our first night, and it was one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I've ever had -- a beautiful evening with the most wonderful service. Breakfast didn't disappoint either -- all with a lovely view, too! It's clear that not only are Giovanna and Fabio very skilled at what they do with amazing attention to every detail, they also care deeply about providing a 5-star experience for their guests. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cascina Canee - it's the standard by which all other B&B's should be measured. Thank you for an amazing visit!

If I could wave a magic wand, I'd have a paved road instead of gravel for the last short part of the drive -- but that's the price you pay for the stunning. secluded location and so worth it. We were able to drive it in a small car with no difficulties.

Lovely location, very clean and welcoming.

What a lovely B&B with lovely owners. Would definitely recommend this to any of my friends and family. This place at Lago Maggiore is magic. You arrive in the silence of rural Italy between vineyards at a beautifully renovated old farm that is Cascina Canée. You are welcomed by Fabio and Giovanna who are the owners of this B&B and are very friendly people. The room is amazing, well decorated and equipped with everything you need: airconditioning, a machine for coffee and tea, a mini fridge and blowdryer. Everything is at your disposal. Then the surroundings, you have a beautiful view on the castle and you can even spot Lake Maggiore. I can assure you that the sunsets are amazing. They are even better with a homecooked meal by Fabio. For €39 you get 3 courses of truly amazing Italian food. We didn't stay for dinner once but twice. Also the breakfast is amazing: fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread, eggs, cheese and charcuterie. Everything is there. You will get a fresh coffee, cappucino or tea with it and don't forget to try Fabio's delicious cakes, they are superb.

Nothing really. Only small thing I might mention for people is that the road towards the B&B isn't paved an a bit rocky. But for us that wasn't a problem really.

Outstandingly welcoming hosts who did everything they could to make our stay at their beautiful property a truly lovely experience. Recommend them highly.

Leaving.....!

This was our second stay at Casino Canée, and again the hospitality of Fabio and Giovanni was fantastic. The property itself is nicely located at the outskirts of Angera with a beautiful view of the the town with its castle and the lake behind it. The owners really make you feel at home. Next to a good breakfast, they offer two choices of a carefully prepared, home cooked diner that allows you to taste some good Italian cuisine at a reasonable pice. Enjoying a glas of wine and a good conversation with the other guests during sunset makes this stay one to repeat again on a next trip!
