Cascina Canée

In the Top-5 of places we have stayed in Europe (and we have travelled a lot in Europe!) - Great hospitality from Giovanna and Fabio, wonderful people. Home-cooked food, great views and a top, top bed mattress made our stay unforgettable.

Both the property and the hosts were absolutely wonderful. They truly deserve maximum points for every aspect of our stay.

Our group of six had an amazing stay at Cascina Canée, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Tucked away by Lake Maggiore, this village retreat is a captivating blend of hospitality and cuisine. From the start, Fabio and Giovanna, our gracious hosts, made us feel right at home. The three bedrooms were cozy and well-appointed, each with its own en suite bathroom and private entrance. We enjoyed an exquisite dinner, and the breakfast is rich and delicious Recommended!

Family founded hotel. They are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended to everybody who likes the country side locations. Very quiet in nature, nice view on the lake and the castle. Proffered to accept the dinner at place Italian specialties you will be satisfied. I will come back again for sure ! :)

After my expectational good experiences I really not able to say nothing bad. :) Only the last 200m off road to the hotel is a little bit funny, but don`t care ! :) Take care only seasonally opened the Hotel.

Fabio and Giovanna are very nice people. If you have questions about anything, you can ask them. The main part of the house is really great, our room was also very nice and quiet. You have a view to the castle, so it Is very nice to have a 🍺 , watch the view and just chill.

Fantastic hosts, the best food we had on our trip. Cracking value. Look forward to going back. Great view.

Giovanna and Fabio are excellent hosts - they provided a perfect stay! Delicious and healthy food, a very pleasant atmosphere and very useful excursion tipps.

Nothing to note, really good place!

Staying at Cascina Canée was a highlight of our trip to Italy. The hosts were awesome-- friendly, helpful, and great company. The converted farm house was beautiful and the views of the castle during breakfast was stunning. Order the dinner! Their homemade food is amazing.

The stay was wonderful. Taxiing to the location from Milan airport can be challenging so make sure to ask the hosts for travel guidance if you plan on taking a cab.

I loved this place so much ! It's a peace of heaven, seriously. The hosts were so nice, the place is a little hidden gem between the lake and the mountains. The place itself is so comfy and beautiful. We were so sad to leave after one night, I could honestly have stayed for a couple of weeks to just relax, rest and enjoy the nature around.

There's nothing we didn't like! Just want to give some more info for other travellers about the location: the place is situated in a very small village by the lake. The house it's even a bit secluded from that village so you need a car or enjoy walking. It's not central, there's no shops or restaurants around which for us was a total highlight.
