Great stay and lovely home cooked breakfast

A lovely 300 year old farm cottage, beautifully styled inside, felt welcoming and cosy. The view of the large garden from the property is lovely and we were lucky enough to have a view of it from our room. From the minute we entered, until the time we left, we were made to feel welcome and relaxed.

We can honestly say we didn’t have any issues with the property. A thumbs up from us.

Lovely cottage with original features

A bed and breakfast like we wanted one. Great hosts, beautiful English old house and a fabulous homemade breakfast. Only 12-20 minutes by car from Lincoln University.

Nothing

We were made to feel very welcome and had a very enjoyable stay . The rooms were very quiet and had a good nights sleep after a busy day.

If possible ensuite on all the rooms , but we appreciate this may not be possible with the logistics of the house.

I stayed in the attic room, it was perfect for a short stay in the countryside with a comfortable bed and a nice view. Hosts were friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was delicious.

Breakfast is freshly cooked and taken in the lovely farmhouse kitchen. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and cosy. Lut and Bruce welcomed us like old friends. All in all we had a very relaxing stay.

There is nothing to say here. We had absolutely nothing to complain about.

Shared bathroom on lower floor tiny room, single bed ( child’s bed) . Only a small window and table fan for ventilation . The room was like a sauna unbelievably hot , they said they couldn’t offer me a room on a lower floor ( which I assume would have been larger) I barely slept the two nights I was there . It’s such a shame because I visit the area twice a year and it’s an easy 15 minutes from my family. I won’t risk B&B again after this experience.
