Roscrea Bed & Breakfast

The location was excellent for access to the Bodmin Railway (which was the main reason for our visit). Was also an easy walk to restaraunts, cafes and shops. Breakfast each day was excellent. Sarah was a great friendly host who made sure we were confortable and had every thing we needed.

Parking was the only issue. Was uneasy about having to stop on the road (which is fairly narrow) to unload and load. Was a bit of a walk to the private parking area, but at least it was free and off road.

Excellent B&B in the centre of Bodmin. Colin and Sarah are brilliant, attentive hosts who are very knowledgeable about the area and who make the most incredible bread!

Nothing I didn’t like.

The property had a lot of character, charm and was very welcoming as were the hosts. The bedroom was very clean, good bed and quiet. A very nice bathroom. Good breakfast with choice.

Sitting at the same table as the other guests for breakfast. Bathroom being separate to bedroom so have to leave room. Car park is not on site.

Private bathroom but not en-suite. Parking time restricted.

Very good breakfast with home-made marmalade and lots of yummy choices. Nice talks with the owners…

One room faces the street and is rather loud - if we stayed again we would ask for the quiet room facing the parking lot!

Wonderful period property, excellent hosts genuinely make you feel at home, superb food a location central enough to explore the whole of Cornwall from yet there is still plenty to see and do within walking distance. What’s not to love? We’ll definitely be back.
