Roscrea Bed & Breakfast

Everything was great but the bed was a bit soft for my personal preference. Sarah provided a vegetarian breakfast.

Perfect location in the heart of Bodmin . Lovely room , very friendly hosts . Enjoyed the breakfast . Close to great pubs and restaurants .

Some noise from the main road but didn’t affect sleeping . Nothing wrong with the bed , just used to having a 6ft one at home .

Hosts Colin and Sarah were attentive however if you prefer to keep yourself to yourself you can but loved having conversations with them both. Colin greeted me at the door and explained everything fully to me as I arrived and freshly baked bread was being made for breakfast the next day. Both were very helpful with helping me with travelling to places by public transport, offering guidance for where to visit and to check the weather if I needed. I received fresh towels and breakfast choices in the morning were a wide variety and felt catered for every need. I loved trying the pumpkin jam, homemade bread, hogs pudding and middle back bacon. After my first morning when I came down the following days coffee was already prepared for me. On returning to my room the bed was made, a clean mug, teaspoon and bins were emptied.

I had no issues with the property what so ever I would happily stay again if I was revisiting. Everything was perfect for what I intended to do and achieved what I set out.

The breakfast was very good!

Parking was not at the property - out of their control. But it’s free and just a few minutes’ walk away.

Wonderful and helpful hosts! They even found the book that I started reading at my previous stop so I could continue ❤️ The building is beautiful with a lot of attention to detail. You can have a look around and see something new every time.

Beautiful BnB right in the middle of town with convenient parking. Owners were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Had everything guests could need for a stay and was just such a beautiful property. Lovely breakfast - would highly recommend.

Colin and Sara is a very nice couple and they go out of there way 125% to make sure you have a good stay if I ever return to Bodmin Cornwall which I hope I do I will make sure I stay there again xx

Good attention to detail. Homly elegance, quercky, nice soft furnishings. Good breakfast. Verity of teas, and fresh milk in my room. Scented good quality soaps and shampoo Kind and thoughtful host.

The mattress on my bed too thin. Sheets could be better quality. And towels need to be fluffed up.
