Matilde B&B - La Paz, Carmen

Super sweet staff (two sisters). Very friendly and very good in cooking. Would love to have stayed longer.

The bedsofa is not ment to be for sleeping normal.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They offer a laundry service and also helped us book a car. The room was clean and the beds were extra comfortable for a great night's sleep. The location is conveniently located close to the Chocolate Hills and is also close to town. Every morning the free breakfast was prepared for us at the time we requested.

The WI-FI worked great in the morning but was slow in the evening. This was only troubling for us at times as we work online at night.

Clean nice beautiful setting.

Bed was a little bit hard and our hot water heater was broken for the shower.

I stayed at Matilde B&B on my way over to the eastern end of the island to see the rice terraces, and while the area itself is nothing special, it's a great place to stop off for the night. I arrived quite late but the staff was there to greet me when I arrived and take my breakfast order for the next day. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, and I had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was amazing, it was so nice to be treated to some traditional Filipino things like champorado and longganisa! Angel was a lovely person to talk to as well and made me feel so welcome, thank you! :)

The air conditioning unit in the room was a little loud, so bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper
