Mill House Bed and Breakfast

The breakfast was excellent and it was a good location to travel to other points of interest.

The breakfast was very good and there was a lot of choice. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The location was also good with a pub and a hotel nearby and within walking distance. both of which served good food. I even managed to get a Cromer crab at the hotel for my evening meal. The beach was within walking distance too. Couldn't fault anything. All in all it was a wonderful experience and would recommend the B & B.

Spacious room which was spotlessly clean. . Bed was comfy and there was a good selection of drink options in the room. Breakfast cooked to order and was delicious! Owner was welcoming and helpful but unintrusive.

Extremely comfortable room. Excellent bed with quality bed linen. Tea, real coffee plus biscuits provided. Our breakfast was extremely generous with quality local ingredients which were beautifully cooked & presented.

The house is beautiful, it has it’s quirks because of its age, but for us it added to its charm. Denise was a lovely, very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, really good choice - everything is well cooked and presented.

There’s nothing we didn’t like!

Welcoming hostess. Exceptionally clean. Breakfast table beautifully appointed- generous portions of cooked breakfast. From the dining room window we saw a muntjac deer, a squirrel and lots of birds foraging in the fallen leaves under the trees in the pleasant grounds. Hamza Yassin would have been thrilled! Mill House is a character house ? Victorian with period furnishings and a welcoming lounge for guests with comfortable seating and lots of books. Because of the house’s age there was single glazing in the bedroom and in November, although the central heating was on full, we were glad of the additional heater and blanket we could use which made the bedroom very warm. The bed was comfortable and the pillows soft and fluffy- again the bedroom and en-suite were exceptionally clean . Judging from comments on the ‘Four in a bed’ TV programme, cleanliness is probably the most important factor when staying away from home and this B&B is probably the cleanest we have ever enjoyed.

We would have liked the internet password to be displayed in the bedroom. It was on the sheet on which we marked our breakfast menu choices and after we had left this downstairs for the proprietor - when we arrived back in the evening after dinner we realised we did not have the password. We should have mentioned this at the time but no doubt it will be remedied for future guests.
