Friendly, very clean, excellent breakfast, all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay.

We were walking Hadrian's Wall Path. Dacre House is a gem. We arrived as it was getting dark and Clare the owner welcomed us when we arrived. There's a boot/drying room. If you are walking Hadrian's Wall - it is very useful. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom were luxurious. There's a bath in the en-suite which is very welcome after a long day. Before dinner, we headed into the lounge where there are self-service drinks and snacks + some games. We headed through to dinner which Clare served. It was lovely. And then after a quick nightcap we headed to our room. We slept well. The breakfast was excellent and we then got togged up and headed back onto the walk.

Einfach alles hat uns gefallen, von der sehr freundlichen Begrüßung, der sehr geschmackvollen Einrichtung, dem wahnsinnig leckeren Essen aus lokalen Zutaten... Sehr empfehlenswert!

Large and comfortable room with a modern bathroom. Property was well maintained and clean. Host was very friendly and helpful.

Just a bit more pricey than most places that we stayed on the Hadrian's wall hike although some were close to the price but nowhere near the standard.

Clare was Super helpful in the booking and and also help with booking and he local pub. Dacre house has been beautifully renovated and immaculate with a very friendly vibe.
