Dacre House

Fabulous overnight stay here on our Hadrian's Wall Walk. Claire was amazing, she had pre booked us a table at the local community run pub, food there was great, came back to a lovely hot shower and a wonderfully comfy bed. Breakfast was superb.

The hosts as well as the stay were exceptional

Absolutely beautiful little hotel. Every detail was thought out and well curated. The lounge rooms were inviting and comfortable and looked as though they were pulled from a magazine. The shakshuka breakfast was one of the best meals we had on our entire trip. The hosts were friendly and helped in any way they could. The bedroom was large and comfortable. Loved our stay, wish we could have stayed longer!!

The hosts were gracious, the breakfast was delicious, the rooms were gorgeous and the setting lovely. It would be difficult to imagine a more beautiful and comfortable accommodation. Staying at Dacre House on the night before we began our walk along Hadrian's Wall added immeasurably to our adventure.

Very nice experience from beginning to end. Thank you Claire for looking after us, it was such an enjoyable stay. So welcoming and so well run and what a beautiful place you have, I loved it. No hesitation to recommend to anyone visiting the area for holiday or to do Hadrian's Wall walk, this is where you want to stay. Exceptional.
