A stay at Dacre House is like visiting a good friend who happens to own a gorgeous home. Clare is such a friendly and welcoming host - and she cooks a brilliant breakfast. All the rooms are luxurious, spotless, and tastefully decorated. Probably the highlight of our entire walk along Hadrian's Wall.

Perfection. Everything about Dacre House is excellent. Clare is a wonderful, welcoming host. The bedrooms are large, beautifully designed with high quality furnishings. The lounge is, again, beautifully furnished and very relaxing. Breakfast and evening meals very, very good with plenty of choice and good value. And despite the care that has gone into the house and its furnishings, Clare was supremely relaxed about our two, large dogs. They, too, were immediately catered for with their own beds, bowls and chews.
