Dacre House

The room was lovely and very accommodating as we brought our dog who also had a lovely time. Our host was brilliant in looking after us, giving us recommendations, and providing us with a lovely night away!

There was nothing that I would change about our stay at Dacre House!

Beautifully kept house and bedroom. Despite an early arrival the owner offered a tray of tea and assortments. The room was made available immediately. Evening meal was from a varied choice menu, similarly with the breakfast options along with the assorted fresh fruits. There was a small bar with a good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks with a Honesty box type payment

The host and facilities were great. The offer of dinner was very helpful and the food was delicious.

There wasn't anything I didn't like

Excellent luxury guest house - on Hadrians Wall Path Rooms were large and beds comfortable. Evening meal and breakfast was delicious Welcome and customer care throughout our stay was superb - thanks Clare and team.

The whole property has been beautifully restored and is tastefully presented. The food is outstanding.

What an oasis of peace and tranquility. Claire and her husband have created a wonderful place. The food was excellent. By far the best place we have stayed while walking Hadrians wall.
