Everything about our stay was amazing! Host was wonderful and accommodating Explained everything very clearly We were able to get into our room early, as it was ready that morning There was a wide range of breakfast options, and the breakfast I had was really tasty Ample parking available at the property Gorgeous bathroom with an amazing shower

Perfect location to break up journey from Lancashire up to Edinburgh. Great location as we visited nearby Walter Scott’s home Abbortsford House the next morning too. Very scenic route A7. Host Carol, fabulous and made our stay very welcoming with beautiful room, service and first class cooked breakfast. A gem of a stop off and priced exceptional value for money. Lovely location, room great facilities and warm heated perfect for time year, very cosy excellent quality bedding, furnishings and bath robes, slippers and towels. Fabulous.

Our suite was exceptional .Spotlessly clean,a comfortable bed and lovely surroundings. Breakfast can be served in bedroom or in lovely lounge and everything tasted great. Carol is a lovely host ,even giving us a lift to the wedding we were attending .We did not have time to use the spa but a relative was there recently and said it was super.

The fact we only stayed for ir one night.

Room,decor ambience of the whole Castle and surrounding scenceary,breakfast was absolutely second to none with a large choice and also cooked to perfection,Carol was a Fantastic host who has excellent taste for interiors of the castle and surrounding buildings this place is a ten out of ten sand not to be missed please go here it's a Wonder all onit own.

Nothing to dislike

Breakfast was lovely, beautifully cooked and plentiful.

It was absolutely beautiful with such attention to detail in decoration, the room we stayed in was so spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean with beautiful views from each window. There was everything we could need in the room including iron, ironing board, hairdryer, tea and coffee and even a sweet treat each! The breakfast was delicious and cooked exactly how I’d asked. Carol was so friendly and welcoming. She went above and beyond helping us and made us feel completely at home. We would love to return here again and would recommend this accommodation to everyone. The on site tea room was also an added bonus to sit out in the sunshine with coffee and a cake!
