Branxholme Castle (Bed & Breakfast)

The castle is beautifully done up, suites are enormous, the host and staff are really lovely, and the full Scottish breakfast is amazing. Thanks Carol for having us in your lovely home!

The room was absolutely gorgeous at a good price. Carol was so friendly and helpful, even offering to drive us down the road to our friend's wedding venue. Breakfast is ordered the day before and then delivered to the room at your preferred time in the morning, which was a lovely touch and was delicious. There is a cosy lounge you can relax with a drink, read a book or play a board game. It's a very short drive into town. We would definitely go here again, it was such a lovely short break! You will feel like royalty in this castle.

Beautiful large room with comfortable bed. Loved the addition of a table and chairs and fridge. Carol was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic.

The host was amazing, couldn't have asked for a nicer stay. The room exceeded all expectations, the breakfast was perfect. Absolutely thrilled to have been able to stay there with my family. Would definitely come back when heading that way again.

Lovely hotel in an amazing setting. The rooms were huge with an en-suite that allowed for a bath and shower. We were served breakfast in our room so we could enjoy while over looking the scenery. There was a huge selection of breakfast, all freshly cooked. The bed was huge and comfortable. I’ve stayed on a few hotels in the area and this is by far the best and will be back.
