The staff were absolutely amazing people and helped out so much with planning hikes in Huaraz. As well the quality of the rooms!

The staff are so nice and knowledgeable! Leonardo helped us a lot to plan for hiking. I would want to stay at Akilpo again next time being in Huaraz.

The staff at Akilpo make this a great place to stay. All of them are friendly and helpful. They organised or trips into mountains and were very knowledgeable offering lots of useful advice. They were all super responsive and also good for a laugh too!

I really enjoyed staying at Akilpo Home! The staff was so friendly and helpful, and even though we arrived four hours before check-in, we got a room after only two hours. In the meantime, we were allowed to chill in the common area, and they even offered us blankets, which was so generous. The room was everything we wanted - comfy beds and our own bathroom with a shower with hot water. We even got a balcony with a view overlooking the mountains. The breakfast was super good, and the chef helped us in how to explore the city and even offered room for our luggage after we checked out. All in all a lovely place to stay, and I would 10/10 recommend!

Esteban and his colleagues are very welcoming and had helped us a lot in our logistics here in huaraz with patience and really good suggestions, among other things. Luis cooked delicious breakfeast ! Nothing to complain about this place, the best place in huaraz!

Great place to stay in Huaraz. Super staff. Really helpful in everything. Taking all the time needed. Luis best guide ever! Free filter water tap in reception also.

Very nice staff, very comfy beds. We could stay until 9pm until our bus was leaving for a low price. We enjoyed our stay very much. 10/10 recommend!

Shower had not that much water pressure (which seems to be normal for Huaraz)

Beautifully decorated rooms and large comfortable bed. Staff really knowledgeable and helpful regarding trekking in the area and on the whole a pleasant place to stay!

The rooms/hotel itself are nice. Great breakfast. The best part though is the staff - super friendly and attentive. They help guests plan amazing trips / hikes for good prices, including less famous/crowded hikes. They help arrange transportation, guides, etc. The akilpo team is just top-notch!
