Ashcott Homestead Bed & Breakfast

Breakfast was excellent. Love the place very must.

The homestead was full of charm and had a nice atmosphere with lots of decor details to look at. We stayed in the charming smaller bedroom called Sunrise and had a smaller bathroom next door. The room had a good heater and electric blanket, so we were nice and toasty quickly. The breakfast in the morning was the highlight. A lot of choice on cereals and the cooked breakfast was tasty and really nicely presented and all cutlery and china were immaculate. We felt like lord and lady of the manner sitting at our large dining room table. The house is nice and clean. Thank you for a lovely stay.

There were a few narrow steps to navigate down/up to the bathroom which was fine for us but may not be for others. I think it was only the Sunrise bathroom though.

Very comfortable and delightful old house, done up beautifully. Our room was comfortable and the little touches provided by John added to our stay. The breakfasts were delightful and greatly enjoyed. It was great value.

The house was warm but to have the empty fire places in use on cold evenings would have added to the stay

The hosts were amazing. Very informative when asked questions about the Homestead, but not in your face at other times. We were served a cooked breakfast each morning, we were not expecting a cooked breakfast, so this was a bonus.

Exceptional breakfast with lots of surprises like sweets in room, guest lounge to make tea, coffee, hot chocolate plus biscuits and fresh fruit when you felt like it.

Everything was superb

We liked everything - Ashcott Homestead has so much history just a stunning place. We only met Giovanni, he was such a lovely person to chat to.

Nothing too major but a ensuite within the room would have been great but at least our bathroom was very close. Need to be aware that this property is approx 36kms from the closest place for dinner.
