"A very well-presented house with an interesting setting and background story"

Hosts were welcoming and great attention to detail. Unfortunately the poor weather made the public areas all a bit gloomy but bedroom was very warm and comfortable.

Bathroom configuration and distance from bedroom unusual but worked OK. I chose Ashcott House because of my history interests but it is isolated so would probably a better experience with travelling companions.

"Definitely Worth A Detour"

A fabulous heritage home set in beautiful gardens and farmlands. John and Gio were wonderful hosts - very welcoming and friendly. When you first arrive you can feel the genuine warmth of their hospitality. All topped off with a home made breakfast. We would highly recommend and we will be back.

Food was exceptional. Everything was so fresh and delicious. You can tell that John takes great pride in his property and genuinely cares that his guests feel welcome and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!!
