The Kings Head Inn

The room had most things you could need.

Comfortable room with shower and tea & coffee making facilities and plenty of parking. Lovely rural setting, with view of sheep and animals, whilst still close to main road. Good pub meals in a very nice bar.

Lovely friendly staff, good food - would stay again

Lovely room with a king size bed and double doors opening to a balcony with country views. The room & ensuite were thoroughly clean and the owner was lovely and welcoming, especially as we arrived after 6pm -the inn closed at 6.

The cooked breakfast was good.

The orange juice was of a poor quality & tree was no yogurt or fresh fruit on offer but I don’t know how many breakfasts they serve as I was the only on in the dining room.

As soon as we arrived we were made to feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble, feel like I have made new friends. Would definitely return. I’d even pop in and say hello when in the area even if only passing through.

I think my only qualm was the wifi signal in the rooms, but it was actually good to have a bit of a rest from my phone.

This is a lovely inn, the rooms are delightful, modern, spotlessly clean and there is a real attention to detail with the facilities. The owners are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

It was perfect

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and had a lovely stay overall. The room was a great size, clean, comfortable, and very private. We especially loved having the balcony where we could sit and see the animals, which made the stay feel really relaxing and unique. The property itself felt welcoming and was a great place to unwind.

There wasn’t really much of a neighbourhood or area nearby to walk around and explore. The WiFi was free, which was appreciated, but the connection wasn’t very good during our stay.

Excellent stay! Highly recommend, will definitely be staying again when in the area
