Spending time with Abdul and his family in the quiet and tranquil surroundings of Skoura was a delight The property is nestled amongst the dense olive groves and crumbling kasbahs on the edge of the village. This is authentic Morocco, far removed from the madness of the country's ever busy tourist traps.

Jarden des Grenadiers is a work in progress. Don't expect the luxuries of an international hotel. Life chez Abdul is simple, the facilities somewhat basic, but the food is excellent and the heartfelt welcome truly genuine.

The local house is in a beautiful, authentic and peaceful palmerie. Abdou goes all out to make one feel comfortable and at home. The food that is freshly prepared is so tasty and truly farm-to-plate.

Un accueil exceptionnel de la part d’Abdou, qui est souriant, convivial, qui aime les gens ! Il aime chanter la vie ! Un beau moment d’échange et de partage sincères ! Nous regrettons de n’y être resté qu’une nuit… La maison d’hôte est simple et authentique ! Nous avons commandé un couscous, très bon et très copieux, fait maison par sa femme ! Le petit-déjeuner est très copieux également, avec des produits locaux ! On espère revenir un jour, et rester plus longtemps…

Un séjour trop court malheureusement

Très bon accueil dans une famille exceptionnelle ! L'hôte nous a permis de faire une visite de la palmeraie et nous avons mangé de délicieux repas. Nous avons même passé une après-midi avec les enfants.

Our warm welcome was very much appreciated after a wonderful day exploring places on our travels to Skoura. Abdou was the most charismatic man- happy, and welcoming. We instantly felt part of the family! We were treated to a very tasty home cooked meal. A salad of fresh tomatoes, rice and a vegetable and chicken tagine that was 10/10. Waking up with the sun and wandering Abdou’s garden followed by breakfast was a lovely start to our day!

Abdul is a great host and all the family members were super friendly. We arrived a little early but were more than welcome to check in at Abdul’s place. He had some great recomendations (go see the Sidi Flah Gorges and Oasis). The food was so good, we really liked the home-made bread. It is worth to walk around and play soccer with the local kids.

Great hospitality, food, location and views. The owner has a very positive and calm energy. We also slept very well, wifi works well, hot water everything is perfect.
