Very good location, quiet

Bed fine, but sofa-bed very unconfortable. More blankets needed (cold). Toilets not close to the chalet. Very small sink. This accommodation is probably fine in a warmer time of the year.

"Great base for a family night away."

Really handy for Whitby and other places but in a lovely quiet village (that had a nice park for the kids to play) and with the cinder track right beside it. Great food!

Great location for exploring Whitby and the surrounds, really cosy warm room. Good breakfast and very welcoming staff.

Pub a bit noisy in the evening but it was silent by around 10pm

Fantastic stay, in a gorgeous little pub. The staff were extremely friendly, and the room was nice, with a very comfy bed. Would happily stay again.

"Disappointing stay as we did not have a good night's sleep"

Good breakfast and it was a convenient location for our stay

The chalet had a very uncomfortable and thin mattress which you could feel that springs though and the bedding was very thin. The chalets are advertised as having a bathroom but technically there is not a bathroom per chalet. There is one toilet and one shower that is shared by the four chalets which was not what we expected.

Modern room. Nice lively pub. Food was lovely and big portions. Staff were helpful. Kitchen staff were lovely.
