Clean,easy parking,food was fantastic, would definitely come again

Having no food available on Sunday night and having to sample food at a nearby hotel which was dire!

The location, just off the cinder track, makes it easy to walk into Whitby or Robin Hood's Bay. The lady that served me at breakfast was friendly. I really like the bath. Portable radiator meant the room was lovely and warm - it was a cold, bleak day when I arrived. Problem with key was quickly dealt with.

The hot tap, which I reported as not fully working when I last stayed in July, has STILL not been sorted. It's barely a trickle and the cold isn't much better. Paint has been peeling off the bathroom ceiling for at least a year now. WiFi password provided only covered bar area. I have had WiFi in my room before but when I asked a member of the bar staff she said there was only the bar one so couldn't use WiFi on my phone once in the room.

The quality of the food and the price of the food was perfect. The staff could not have been more helpful, plus, they were great fun. The location is excellent if you want to visit Whitby, Runswick bay or Staithes and we visited all three, so I would highly recommend the Windmill Inn.

The rooms are a bit basic and little things like the shower room not having more than one hook on the wall to hang your clothes add up. That said, it is still excellent value for money.

Good food for both breakfast and dinner. Slept well.

Shared facilities are a little in need of some TLC. I suspect that if all cabins are occupied one toilet and one shower may not be enough.
