The Windmill Inn - Whitby

Something a bit different the lodges were very warm and cozy a perfect getaway for a couple to stay and relax with great helpful staff and a lovely bar.

Friendly staff. Excellent fish and chips for dinner, better than in Whitby town centre. Location with great views.

Water pressure was virtually non existent on hot water. Paper falling from bathroom ceiling

The location was good and easy to park. The breakfast was great but apart from that the venue will not be getting my custom again im afraid

I booked to stay in the hotel but we where told when we arrived we where out in the cabin. I was sceptical but thought it might be nice how wrong we where. The cabin smelt damp and was not very comfortable at all. We wanted luxury but got 1 star treatment with a very uncomfortable.bed where you felt very spring and slate, the duvet was so old it had become missshapened and bobbly beyond (it had basicly matted together) I fused to lay on the pillow so played on my clothes. Our towels where not changed once or asked if we needed new ones or if we wanted our room cleaned in the whole 5 days we where there. We had to walk across the gardens to the shower or toilet of which was also used as the pub gardens so if you didnt wake up early enough people got a good show The actual pub venue was nice just ashame we didnt get what we wanted x

The shepards huts are getting a little worse for wear (doors starting to rot) No openable windows so got very stuffy Bed was terrible! (Pretty old Very thin mattress)

The bath was fab room was great location was fab food was fantastic staff were great x

Unfortunately. .. the music from the bar was so so loud in our room and didn’t turn off till 10.50 For some reason it echoed. In our room. Also the curtains were not thick enough s o light was let it very easy especially in morning we had an early aekeing … when we wanted a sleep in x
