I have purposely chosen this place for my stay - an old healing centre, photos show it's old and it was obvious to me, that it would be quiet, peaceful and simple. Just what I needed. If you are looking for luxury this is not it. This place is for self reflection, nature walks and perhaps a visit to the waterfalls. It is a place to sleep in a simple room, comfy bed - there is a small kitchen with a kettle and such, however bring your own everything, food, drinks, mug, plate... Bring your own towel and toiletries. This is not a hotel, it is a cheap stay in a charming old healing centre :)

I knew what to expect, so I do not have negatives to share. This place used to be a fabulous healing centre, but hit a little bit of a hard time after change of management and I know from the lady who is looking after it - that there is a plan to spruce it up and bring it back to it's original glory. For now - yes it needs a clean, yes the gardens need attention.. But my room was fine, it was clean, with a clean bed and a good heater. If you are expecting luxury, don't book here :)

Nothing to like.

Arrived to what would appear as a drug den run by squatters. Was told the boss was on the run, the people there were homeless and trying to run the place. They have no access to bookings so no idea who is coming. Dogs roaming freely when not locked in cages in the dark dingy reception that is littered with empty alcohol bottles/cans. Dog biscuits scattered throughout the buildings. Broken furniture, dirty bedding and dirty mouldy dishes scattered in communal areas and rooms. After being offered two previous dirtied rooms, with unchanged beds (was told they would get them cleaned), we were offered the room I booked with the ensuite. This had no key barrel in the door, clearly broken in numerous times but there was a lock bolt inside. A member of staff/squatter then proceeded to sit in their van in a bra with some form on drug pipe while talking to us. Was told the room would be cleaned up while we went out to eat and walk and a latch and padlock would be attached. We came back to a man sleeping in our bed, ten others had turned up, music blaring, everyone drinking and on drugs. We left to find somewhere safe to stay at 9pm with 3% phone battery! Booking.com are aware of this and still offer this place to book?! It but both my son and I at risk with a possibility of nowhere safe to sleep, we ended up having to pay quite a bit elsewhere!

We got there a lady ceme to me offer the room in that room have two door one door is lock cant lock no key l adk them change the lock the change the lock is cant lock We have so confusing our safety we pull the ded near the door each one parsan didn't sleep whole night

The people at the reception are not friendly, the shower and toilet are in terrible condition. There were no towels or toilet paper, the room smells like minarets.

Once I got there after a long journey there was a very distressed owner , she was almost in tears as she was telling me that she just got back and the place was completely trashed.She said that she wouldn’t take any guests as it was to much for her . All the rooms were broken into and trashed . Rubbish was everywhere. There was one room not in a bad state but she didn’t have keys for it . I didn’t feel safe sleeping there as the only guest and I was worried about catching bed bugs .

I believe the owner lady had some health issues . Please send me a refund
