I am not a great fan of the full English Breakfast. and I am sure there would be plenty to satisfy anyones appetite. I had simply a poached which was cooked well Good parking.

I have know this place for many years. It is really a pub with accommodation. To access my room I had to walk through the rain. The room was dingy had an unloved quality about it, gloomy. the were were two minor breakages think one was the toilet roll holder. Not important but they displayed a like of care. In the bar and eating area the pattern in the carpet in one place had worn to an area of dark grey. I am sad that it has been so neglected.

The breakfast was booked the night before for a set time. It was cooked to order and acceptable!

The rooms definitely needed some repair work, most of our rooms had quite a few spiders and bugs - one in particular, and that person was definitely not a fan! A few things around the place could do with fixing, especially in the bathrooms. That said, considering cost it's probably a good budget option for a stay. The mattresses were a mixed experience — in one room it was very hard. There were three of us staying in three separate rooms: one slept very well, one slept okay, and one not at all. A bit of a Goldilocks situation! One odd thing we noticed was a television mounted on a door. You could still open the door if you really wanted to by pulling the tele out, but behind it was just a tiny area filled with old bits of wood and bricks. When we left and looked at the outside of the property, we realised it was actually a small outhouse with no door — just a crawl space. It didn’t feel massively secure, as someone determined could have pushed through. That definitely creeped one of us out a little! On a more positive note, the food in the pub the night before was excellent, and the team were really friendly.

Food very good indeed, very extensive menu catering for all tastes. The host was very helpful in providing us with local travel advice, A very relaxed atmosphere which was just what we needed.

There was more traffic noise at night than we are used to, which was inevitable on account of the Inn being at the side of a busy road.

Good parking. Really excellent food and brilliant breakfast. Comfortable bed.

Pub food was nice, good location to get the bus.

The bedroom door didn’t close properly, had to put towels along the bottom, to stop the wind and rain, bathroom had mold and didn’t look very clean, towel had a massive hole in it. Overall very overpriced and dirty.
