Excellent location, easy parking, great breakfast, friendly and helpful owner. Comfy room and powerful shower. Short walk to the Rose & Crown pub which was lovely for dinner, and to Batemans. Thank you Lynda for having us (and Gwen the cat for cuddles!)

Nous avons adoré séjourné ici. La propriétaire était très gentille et a discuté avec nous pendant le petit déjeuner, qui était d'ailleurs excellent. Le petit village était calme et ressourçant.

Second visit to this lovely countryside traditional B&B. We liked it so much we went back. Very warm welcome, dogs welcome, great breakfast. Will return to visit Batemans house again. Sky at night was unbelieveable it was so clear with no light polution. Eggs at breakfast were laid by the chickens who live there.

Would have liked herbal tea as well as the ordinary tea in the room, but everything else was perfect.

The accommodation was a house with an old style country cottage feel set in idyloc countryside surroundings. The view from our room was stunning and there was a lovely garden which we didn't use as the weather was too cold. The location to the local oub was very convenient and we were able to park right outside the accommodation.

The accommodation was difficult to find as the sign is obscured so we drove past it the first time. There is onsite paking at the front but it is on a steep incline so when reversing my car in the valance at the front of my car scrapped on the ground and became scuffed. I had to park parellel which isn't a problem but would have helped to have known before arriving what to expect. Also I was contacted just a day or so before my booking to be told there wouldn't be a cooked breakfast as the owner wasn't wasn't going to be available. I found this very disappointing as the room had been booked for a special occassion for my mum's 75th birthday. As there wouldn't have been time to re book somewhere else I had to accept it but no offer of a reduction in the price I paid was suggested. We were just provided with cereal and bread which I had agree at the time would be enough but in hindight I am upset regarding things.

Very friendly host and lovely relaxed breakfast. Great pub up the road for supper. Private accommodation.
