The host was a pleasure from great conversations at breakfast to providing us with local historic areas and the best local pubs to visit. The place was a beautiful quiet location near a historic national trust estate.

Steep stairs to the rooms were a bit of a challenge.

Good rural location. Due to unforeseen circumstances cooked breakfast not available but made aware the night before and good continental breakfast provided

Herbal tea would be welcome in room.

"Pretty cottage with lovely host."

The breakfast room was beautiful and the food delicious. Loved the host, Lynda, who was very helpful when we had problems with the rental car. She volunteers at Batemans National Trust property around the corner.

Parking was at a sharp slope in front of the property. We found the property a bit hard to locate as we drove down the street; had to back up to find it.
