73 Westend, Balallan, Isle of Lewis

What a gem! Ideally located to get to all parts of Lewis and Harris, this place is really comfortable and clean with lovely views and very quiet at night. There's so much space with a separate private living/dining room and cooking facilities and access to a garden. The host was so incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering to carry bags and provide home made soup and he also gave detailed information on the best places to visit. They have thought of and provided everything you might need. I was really impressed with this place!

Ontzettend lieve en gastvrije mensen. Ze overtreffen zichzelf door van alles aanwezig te hebben waar je zelf nog niet aan had gedacht.

Everything. Beautiful place, great location, the kindest host we've ever met, great facilities, very very clean, your own breakfast/kitchen, etc.

Mirko war super nett, hat uns alles gezeigt und tolle Ausflugstipps gegeben. Die Zimmer waren super, alles sauber und es war alles da, was man für ein Frühstück braucht. Wir werden sicher nochmal wieder kommen. Wetterbedingt haben wir nicht alles sehen können, was wir wollten.

This is a little hidden gem .. Location is ideal, from here you can visit the stunning beaches, at Harris, you not to far from Stornoway, this is where shops are located to get supplies, and some great places to eat. The cleanliness of this self catering was spot on 100%, you have full use of the TV ( hubby loved catching up on footie) The garden area is ideal to relax, which I took full use off. There is nothing that the host would not do to make our stay even more special

There is nothing we didn't like, only our own lack of research, we thought there would be local shops around. Our hosts left plenty to eat.

You have part of the house to yourself, an upstairs and downstairs which is very different from most other B&Bs. It's a good location to travel to tourist attractions in both Lewis and Harris. It's quiet and clean. Comfortable bed and lounge area downstairs.

Great welcome and communication from Mirko. A lovely self contained unit with great attention to the little details which made the stay very comfortable. Clean and well maintained in a natural location in betweenStornaway and Tarbert. Loved to be able to use the washing machine and hang washing out on the line. Lots of things for a continental breakfast.

A little far from the Stornaway shops etc so you need to be organised to avoid unnecessary trips.

Franchement, Excellent Accueil, hébergement très sympa avec de quoi faire de bons petit-déjeûner. Mirko est vraiment très gentil et très serviable. nous avons passé 2 nuits sur place. Merci beaucoup pour tout Luc

L'accueil par nos hôtes , l'espace de la location, les équipements disponibles et la propreté. La localisation permets de facilement visiter Lewis ou Harris.
