"Lovely, welcoming, comfortable guest house, great location."

Beautiful guest house, very clean and lovely views from our room. Small things like lovely toiletries, flask for fresh milk, daily tray bakes and fruit were a lovely touches. This guest house and the host, Kate, stood out as being knowledgeable about the area, very kind and thoughtful, we will return soon! Great location and good food from local pubs. We ate at the Royal Oak and the Coledale inn- both wonderful and walking distance.

"Great short stay"

One of the best B&Bs we've stayed in 👌🏼 Excellent breakfast 🥞🍓🍳🥓☕ Very comfortable beds 😴🛏️ Good shower and the Pure Lakes toiletries provided 🚿 The room was very clean and the garden view was fantastic for wildlife watching 🦌🐦‍⬛ The location is fantastic, quiet but close enough to shops and restaurants and great to use as a base for many walks. The bus stops right outside the house if you're using the public transport. We've had a great stay and would love to come back 🙂

Clean and comfortable location. Kate is fabulous and helpful with advice on what's on and offering alternative walks if the weather isn't quite right. Definitely looking to stay there again.

Nettes viktorianisches Haus mit 8 Gästezimmer. Gemütliches & geschmackvolles Schlafzimmer, kl. Bad mit Dusche, im EG nettes Wohnzimmer mit div. Büchern & Spielen. Das Frühstücksangebot ist perfekt. Ein bessere Start am Morgen gibt es nicht. Ein tolle Gastgeberinn. Es hat an nichts gefehlt.
