Kate was an absolutely amazing host- she was so helpful from the moment we booked our stay to the moment we left. Maple Bank really felt like a home away from home and that is a testament to Kate and team! We were given so many recommendations from walks to restaurants and it made the trip one to remember. We will definitely be returning and would recommend to anybody looking for an amazing place to stay in the Lakes :)

Maple Bank was a comfortable and cosy guest house. Cosy bed, smart bathroom and excellent choice of breakfasts. Our host Kate had a wealth of knowledge on where to visit, what pubs we could eat at etc.

Lovely location; great parking, easy to navigate with close by facilities such as pubs, a local shop and a short drive to anything else. The interior was well designed, with a well equipped bathroom and bedroom. Enough blankets to keep us warm and comfy bedding. Kate was extremely helpful with any request we had, present and lovely to talk to - always providing the best recommendations. They had a lovely big garden which was fenced for the dog which helped him
