Everything, the walks, nature, privacy, off the grid, facilities, comfort. It’s a sweet stop that I keep returning to and will continue to do so. I have stayed here a few times now as it is my own peaceful escape. It’s honestly amazing.

Lovely stay in a beautiful scenic location. So lovely waking up to native birds singing. The outdoor bath is wonderful. There's a short walk to the waterfall and enchanted forest nearby. The Kanuka hut was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you 😊

Communication with the hosts was friendly and fast, the bird song was incredible. The waterfall at the end of the walk was beautiful On a clear day the veiws would have amazing

Unfortunately for us unpredictable NZ weather did not play ball it was a dull drizzly day. The walk to the waterfall was wet and slippery , down by the waterfall my wife rolled her ankle and fell pretty hard, by the time we got back to the hut she was in a fair amount of pain, so we abandoned our nights stay and opted for alternative accommodation with a few more creature comforts. We could imagine on a sunny day this would be a magical place to stay but due to our predicament the confines of the small freezer panel clad hut was not for us.

Location, location. Views. Amenities, attention to detail by host. Beautiful walks. Peaceful. Bird life.

The location and the view were magnificent. The walk to the waterfall was amazing.
