It is a beautiful place right on top of the hill with breathtaking views. Beds were really comfortable and romana made the best freshly cooked breakfast

Nothing everything was perfect

Wow! What a wonderful stay at Papillon! This is the most beautiful B&B with views that are unparalleled of Lake Como. The B&B is beautiful and so tasteful. The breakfast was wonderful and the host was so kind and generous- we really loved it and could not recommend this highly enough!

Unfortunately, Varenna Esino train station is currently closed due to Olympics work so rail replacement busses are in operation from Tirano. As Papillion is at that top of a very bendy hill, you need to rely on the public bus from Varenna Esino which goes up and down throughout the day and night. It took about 15 minutes to get down. Was it worth it? Yes definitely, despite the up and down journey nightmares, my kids and my partner and I will remember staying here for many years!

Le lieu est tout juste magique avec une vue époustouflante du lac en hauteur. La maison de romana est exceptionnelle décorée avec goût et un petit déjeuner super bon. Romana est une super hôte je recommande a 1000%.

Juste un peu difficile d acces avec une grosse moto

Nice italian breakfast. The kids and us enjoyed much. Our host received us warmly with proseco and soft drinks. Lovely. Nice advices to get around. Very quite place where the kids were alowed to play the piano.
