Sunshine House Bed and Breakfast

We had a wonderful time at Marsha’s and Mike’s place. The room was beautiful, the living room very comfortable and the breakfasts were two thumbs up!!! Marsha asked us before our arrival if we had any food intolerance,and following our answer Mike fixed us a gluten free meal! Now that’s what I call a full attention to the client’s needs! And of course we loved sharing with Marsha and Mike and playing with their Dog Puppy! I can honestly say this was the best B&B we stayed in Alaska because Marsha and Mike made us feel like home! Thank you so much guys!

We loved our stay with Marsha and Mike! What a lovely B&B. Amazing breakfasts and lovely company. The location was also fantastic. We really appreciated how helpful they were with letting us leave our bags after check-out. Highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Seward.

Mike and Marsha are amazing hosts. They are so helpful and kind and the breakfasts they prepare are amazing. The location of Sunshine bed and breakfast is excellent and overall we highly recommend Sunshine House. Thank you Mike and Marsha.

Breakfast was superb! Everything we ate was locally sourced and perfectly prepared. Smoked salmon and smoked cheese omelet was awesome. Sourdough pancakes with homemade sourdough- yum. Real maple syrup and made to order omelets. I doubt any restuarant in town could match what we had at Sunshine House. Also ever room had beautiful local art and handmade quilts. I was surprised and pleased at the house, food, and great company of Marsha and Mike the owners, chefs.and artists. Much more than I expected and a real value!!!

Marsha was extremely friendly and helpful, relating some history of the area and providing numerous tips and suggestions of things to do and see, and places to eat. Her breakfasts were outstanding, with a wonderful variety of homemade treats and more than we could eat.

Bathroom door didn't latch.

Breakfasts were phenomenal!! Room was comfy and private. Appreciated the fridge with water in my room. Did I mention the breakfasts were amazing!? Close to free shuttle stops. Most importantly: Wonderful, helpful, accommodating hosts!
