it was so cosy, very stylish and the fire was perfect after a full day exploring. The added extras were so thoughtful and made the stay extra special. The host couldn’t have been nicer and went out her way to make this one of our favourite breaks.

"A special treat"

Everything in this beautiful tiny home feels like a special treat: the food, the pottery, the fresh flowers, the wood stove, the view out of the big windows... Ailsa is the perfect host, giving you all the space and autonomy you can wish for and at the same time being there to help with whatever you might possibly need. The byrn is definitely the best b&b we ever had!

Everything and more you would want on a trip to the west coast. Not far from Lochinver, a stone throw from brilliant sandy beaches. The accommodation is very modern, with everything you need for a relaxing, cosy stay.
