"The best accommodation we have had in Scotland on our tour"

The additional little touches like fresh flowers, gin and tonic and an array of breakfast items was wonderful. The host was very friendly and had thought of everything we might need including a map of the local area. It was a very peaceful, special place to stay.

The food and treats dotted around the house were high quality and generous, the hosts go above and beyond. The region was our favourite part of our tour in the Highlands, stunning coastal walks, lochs and mountains.

"The perfect place to relax in comfort amidst wild scenery."

Superb location in wild, remote landscape. The Old School Byre is beautifully furnished, cosy and comfortable, and a great place to relax. So many lovely touches, such as good quality toiletries, a welcome G&T, and nibbly treats. Continental breakfast ingredients are supplied, including extremely tasty granola! I had a lovely warm welcome from Ailsa and her family, who have created a wonderful and unique place to stay.

I should have booked a longer stay!

"Exceptional accommodation and location"

The facilities and set up. The conversion to the croft is excellent. Very comfortable The hosts are extremely friendly and welcoming The location is perfect to explore north west Scotland and also allows walking direct from the accommodation.

Nothing. The hosts have truly thought of everything. My only gripe is that we couldn't stay longer!
