Very warm welcome, comfortable bed and clean room, good breakfast and we enjoyed relaxing on the loungers on the deck. We found an excellent pub too for dinner, around a 35 min walk, called the Coach and Horses. And very near Sheffield Park.

Nothing but would be great to have the option to BBQ.

The landlady was such a nice person, she prepared really nice breakfast, the room was spacious and clean

The room was clean with a good comfortable bed

Didn't realize the room was in a stable yard and necessitated a walk to breakfast. The wash basin was in the small bedroom not in the bathroom and surprised that the sugar provided was in it's paper bag! The property looked in a poor state of repair and because I arrived at breakfast 10mins early I had to sit on a settee in front of a coffee table. As mentioned in previous reviews the approach to it was hazardous. After making a polite excuse left after 1 night although booked in for 2!

Pure heaven, so peaceful and relaxing, marvellous location with views across the valley towards Sheffield Park, we could hear the whistle from the Bluebell railway locomotives and wonderful birdsong. Our room was like a holiday apartment with very comfortable bed, cooked breakfast which we had outside on the terrace, our host was most welcoming and friendly, we most definitely will return. We were there only 1 night however our stress levels lifted considerably during our stay.

The access road is narrow with many potholes not for a car with low suspension.

The property is in a truly wonderful and unique setting with super views overlooking the South Downs. Bed was comfy and breakfast was great. Lesley was lovely and helped us sort out a dinner reservation on a busy Saturday night.

Rural location with great views. Off the beaten track.

Difficult to find in very rough lane. Outside walk to breakfast, not good on a very wet morning. No milk provided for drink in the room.

The Host Leslie was so caring attentive to every need a traveler would want Leslie’s knowledge of surrounding area and guidance was exception I highly rate this property and look forward to returning again soon
