The Wanderlust Guest House & Safari

My favourite guesthouse in Rajasthan. Padam is so friendly and helpful, organising my camel safari trip and onward travel. The rooms are very clean and a good size. The restaurant and chillout area has great views of jaisalmer fort you could easily spend more time than planned here!! Although the property is not in the fort area it's only a 5 or 10 minute walk , a perfect location away from the hustle and bustle of the fort area! Absolutely 💯 per cent recommended 👌

Good location for tourists in a quiet area.

Padam and his team gave us great hospitality. Nice people and the smiling chef was not only accomodating but a good cook. Had great views of the fort from the rooftop and we could walk to the fort and markets so location was perfect. Hotel room was spacious and aircon worked well. Padam organised a camel ride into the desert and stay in glamping style tents which was very enjoyable.

Padam was so kind, everything was good, the hang out area and restaurant on rooftop was very nice, rooms were a good size and very comfortable. Also you can book camel safaris through Padam. We did this and it was amazing.

Everything was great but here is one idea. At the top of the door to bedrooms there is a glass material meaning the light from the hallway comes in. We found this difficult to sleep so ended up putting a pillow on the ledge up there to block the light. No problems but just an idea for light sleepers.

This was the best stay we have had in India. The room was great, clean and comfortable, the rooftop is super nice with a good menu and great service. The manager, Padam, helped us with so many things and was very helpful. He also runs camel safaris in the nearby thar desert which we 100% recommend.

Nothing to dislike.

Smooth and efficient pick up from the airport. Nice basic en suite room . Plentiful hot water if you use the bucket and jug method. Only smallish tank so might go cold if use shower attachment. Filling up bucket worked really well. Super clean place with an amazing rooftop cafe, restaurant (veg and non-veg) and view of Fort. Great place to chill out. Strong Wi-Fi and only 10 minutes walk to Fort entrance. I was a little cold at night, so they provided me with an extra blanket without hesitation. Great value for money. Felt extremely safe for solo female travellers.

Reception area and rooms could be more cosy.

Padam and his crew at Wanderlust Guest House did a wonderful job making us feel welcome! The room was very spacious and well decorated. Padam's guest house is spotless. The food is so yummy. You will feel so relaxed and peaceful here. I highly recommend this guesthouse and would definitely return. His camel safaris are incredible too! Padam is such a gentleman and host. He will respond to all you queries professionally and honestly.

Nothing. I love this guest house. Padam saw that we were happy and comfortable. The room had many wonderful amenities for the inexpensive cost of the room.

The room was excellent and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant offered delicious food, complemented by an amazing view!

It could have more amenities, including items like a hair dryer and a fridge.
