The Lava Bali Villa and Hot Spring

The staff were amazing

Lovely accommodation, great location. Convenient to book Mt Batur trekking and Lake Batur boat ride directly with them

We were traveling on a bike from Chango Valley to see the volcano, and the rain came, so we got wet and really cold. On the way, we were going through the options and we found one which, as we wanted to get warm, had the hot springs. The place was called Bali Lava and Hot Springs. First of all, the hot springs were amazing. They really did get us warm. And the most important thing was the staff. I forgot to ask this girl’s name, but she was absolutely super sweet and super helpful, and she made our trip absolutely fantastic. If I had any business, I would employ this girl without any questions. She is an absolute diamond for that place. I mean, she’s every employer’s dream, because I believe every single client leaving that place is feeling absolutely blessed. And I know for a fact we will be coming back to explore more of the mountains around, so there is no question that we’re going to stay in the same place again because of the welcoming experience from the staff.

Slightly difficult to get a taxi one day but tha was the only downside!

Parfait pour une nuit avant l’ascension du mont Batur. L’hôtel nous a proposé un guide, Wayan, qui était vraiment excellent. Départ à 4h du matin pour la montée, puis petit-déjeuner et café au sommet. Wayan connaissait tous les endroits plus calmes, à l’écart des touristes, ce qui nous a permis de vivre une expérience exceptionnelle.

Il y avait beaucoup de petites mouches dans la région, notamment au petit-déjeuner et autour de la piscine, sans que cela soit bien sûr de la responsabilité de l’hôtel. L’établissement se situe au bout d’un chemin menant à une grande route avec peu d’intérêt, même si quelques supermarchés se trouvent à proximité. Cela reste néanmoins un hôtel idéal pour une nuit, notamment pour faire l’ascension du mont Batur.
