"Great B &B, great hosts & highly recommend."

Quaint little B&B with everything you need provided. Hosts Twan & Gerda were wonderful, providing all the essentials needed to cook breakfast down to fresh home made bread. Excellent location if planning to visit Hobbiton Movie set. We wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Would highly recommend.

Very comfortable. Great location for Hobbiton

Would have been better to have more than 2 of everything. Had to wash dinner meal dishes before we could have breakfast

Very well presented. Everything catered for and more(including home made bread) A very spacious cottage. Gerda was a wonderful owner and very helpful .Close to Hobbiton.

Dieses B&B ist einfach hervorragend. Gerda und Twan sind tolle Gastgeber. Total zuvorkommend und liebevoll, jedoch nicht aufdringlich. Jeden 2. Tag brachte uns Gerda frisch gebackenes Brot und als wir ankamen war bereits alles fürs Frühstück im Kühlschrank bereitgestellt. Ein toll eingerichtetes Cottage mit allem was man braucht direkt auf der Farm der Besitzer. Die Lage ist außerhalb von Matamata, aber das wussten wir und wollten wir auch so.

The Cozy Country Stay was fantastic. Super clean and comfortable, quiet and serene. The perfect place to stay after a visit to Hobbiton. The hosts are lovely and have thought of absolutely everything you might need. We loved it!

"Gezellige en comfortabel"

Gezellige inrichting, schoon, de koelkast puilde uit en aan alles is gedacht. Twan en Gerda zijn ontzettend gastvrije mensen die het met hun hart doen. Prima gelegen bij Hobbiton. Voor 2e keer geweest omdat het één van de beste plekken was tijdens onze vorige Nieuw Zeeland reis.

"Cozy Cottage is a perfect country retreat and easy access to Hobbiton."

The cottage was perfect for a visit to Hobbiton; an 8 minute drive and about 10 in to town. Our accommodation had everything we could need and was a real country experience with Shetland ponies grazing quietly nearby. We highly recommend a stay here.
