Clean and comfortable room.

Lovely warm welcome and a fantastic property. Room was spotless and lovely terrance area to sit out on. Very close to centre of town/Sigiriya rock. Fantastic safari and meal arranged by hosts.

Mattress in room far too firm.

Great location close to the village but quiet. Within walking distance of all the activities such as the Lion Rock, and the other rock too. The hosts are amazing. The room is spacious and very clean. The hosts are very helpful, kind and go the extra mile. Lakmini is a great cook so I recommend to have dinner at least once during your stay and Sanat makes sure you have a special time. Very good stay at Dream Villa. Thank you! 🙏🏻

Love this place! In the centre of Sigiriya and super close to restaurants. Lions Rock and Pidurangala are within easy walking distance although Pidurangala is a tad further. The rooms are lovely and spacious and the hosts cannot do enough for you! Make sure you have the amazing home-cooked candle- lit dinner on the roof... absolutely delicious and awesome value. Highly recommend.

The hosts, Lakmini and Sanath are the best hosts we’ve ever met as travellers around the world! They made us feel like home, hosting us in the most amazing way! They went above and beyond to make our stay the most memorable and comfortable! They are lovely, really kind, friendly and extremely helpful! They prepared a romantic dinner for us, delicious breakfast every day and Sanath took us around with his tuk tuk! Lakmini is an amazing cook and all the food she prepared for us was amazing and we were able to taste the real authentic homemade Sri Lankan food! They also helped us with many of our transfers when we needed to find a car driver not only to and from Sigiriya, but other places in the country too. Needless to mention the room was sparkling clean and spotless! Honestly, couldn’t recommend Dream Villa Sigiriya more if you’re looking for a real Sri Lankan homestay! Lakmini and Sanath thank you for everything! Your hospitality made our holidays unforgettable and we made friends for life!

My girlfriend and I stayed two nights and it was the best place we stayed in our three weeks in Sri Lanka! The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful going well above and beyond. The room was very spacious and clean, the location was great with easy access to hikes and restaurants. We ate breakfast and dinner at the property which was AMAZING! Such a cozy and romantic fire lit dinner with some of the best food we ate all trip! We could not recommend more.

Nothing, perfect stay!

We stayed here for 3 nights and had an amazing stay! The room was incredibly spacious and clean, and the location is very central, close to small kiosks and popular hiking trails in the area. The hosts were absolutely fantastic and helped us with everything we needed. Among other things, we booked a safari and transportation through them. I would also recommend having all your meals here, as the wife prepares incredibly delicious local food. Dinner is especially worth having here, as they make it very romantic. I would stay here again if we return to Sri Lanka!

I've stayed in many, many hotels and guesthouses and this one is exceptional. The room and the location are great, but the real value is from the thoughtfulness and attention of the hosts. They made such an effort to assure our comfort and assist with any and all needs we had including our travel to and from Sigiriya, activities in the town, and even an impromptu lunch when we arrived at an odd hour. The best part was the extravagant dinner they prepared and served by firelight on the patio! One of the best meals we had in Sri Lanka.
