Dream Villa Sigiriya

I had a wonderful stay for 3 nights at Dream Villa Sigiriya. Solo, female traveller, I felt completely safe here. Clean, spacious room with AC and mosquito net. Clean bathroom with open shower. Beautiful front terrace where breakfast was served. Delicious and plentiful local breakfast, no problem adjusting for vegetarian diet. They helped me with whatever I needed. Such welcoming, kindhearted and generous hosts! Booking a taxi Colombo airport - Sigiriya and Sigiriya - Kandy, transport for sunrise hike at Pidurangala and Lion’s Rock, tour to Polonnaruwa and sunset boat tour. Everything was excellent and very reasonably priced. I felt really well taken care of. I highly recommend staying at Dream Villa Sigiriya for an authentic Sri Lankan stay.

The room is good, comfortable and very clean, but the highlight is Sanath, Lakmini and also her father. They were outstanding and I can’t say thank you enough for everything they did for me. They organized all my tours with very good prices and Sanath accompanied me in many of them. It was a great experience with an amazing family that deserves to receive more and more guests. I recommend it with my eyes closed!

The perfect place to rest in Sigiriya. Very clean and very friendly. It was my partner's birthday and they did everything to make it a special day. They gave us all the information for our activities in the area and the owner took us by tuk tuk to them. We even needed to pay for the taxi and they left us the money while we checked out at an ATM. We will return for sure

This was the most wonderful place to stay - our favourite of our whole stay in Sri Lanka. The accommodation was clean, spacious and has a lovely little veranda to sit and have the delicious breakfast (so much delicious food - and different each morning). But the best thing were the hosts Lakmini and Sanath and their family. They were incredibly kind and attentive. They helped us arrange trips, took us in their tuk tuk, gave us advice and worked so hard to make us welcome. They even cooked us the most amazing dinner. They were so lovely. And we were so sad to leave. Please don’t hesitate in booking here. You will love it!

Amazing hosts who went beyond all our expectations. Food was cooked by host and was incredible. We would highly recommend staying here. Very close to all attractions and host also arranged elephant safari. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay! :)

Fantastic and very hospitable hosts. Not enough words can express how great and accommodating the hosts were. They checked in to ensure that I was safe from the moment I arrived to the moment I reached my next destination. They provided some extras throughout the stay which was very sweet. The room itself is spacious and clean, and it is close to the restaurants and Sigiriya Rock. Highly recommend and I would stay here again if I come back one day.

Dream Villa Sigiriya is a hidden gem! The owners were absolutely wonderful—so kind and helpful. They assisted us with organizing transportation, making everything super easy. And the breakfasts? Hands down the best we had in Sri Lanka! Fresh, delicious, and full of local flavors. Highly recommend staying here!

The couple who own the property are the nicest most accommodating couple! We loved everything about our stay, the room was so clean which for us is so important! The owners wife cooked us a private dinner on our first night and the food was absolutely amazing authentic Sri Lankan food definitely take them up on the offer of dinner! The property is only made up of 2 rooms, so it was nice & peaceful. It is only a 5 minute walk to restaurants and a 10 minute walk to lion face cafe or little Pidurangala where you can sit and get an amazing view of the rock.

We had the most amazing days here due to the hosts. They will help you with everything, from delicious meals to experiences around. The location, room and shower are all really good. The breakfast was the best we had, with different dishes each morning. If you’re offered to enjoy a home cooked dinner; take on the offer! We enjoyed the most delicious meal with the best chicken curry and more, and in the best setting, please let yourself be surprised. Overall our stay exceeded all of our expectations and we recommend Dream Villa Sigiriya to everyone.

Everything was perfect! The hosts were incredibly kind, super friendly and absolutely fantastic. The room is spacious, the bathroom is spacious and very clean. The food is to die for, one of the best on my whole journey. If you want to stay in Sigiriya, this is the place to be. Also close to the town centre and the main attractions. Stay here and you will not regret it. :) Thank you!
