Another Room

Our family had a wonderful three-night stay at this welcoming and comfortable bed and breakfast. The location was perfect — conveniently situated between Portobello Beach and central Edinburgh, making it easy to explore while still enjoying peaceful, quiet nights away from the crowds. The warm hospitality and cozy atmosphere made it a great home base for our family trip, and we would happily stay again. Lynne and Rob were exceptionally friendly hosts, serving very generous breakfast portions. Lynne's scones with cream and homemade jam are the best!

The pillows were a bit uncomfortable. The skylight was very nice for brightening the room, but an optional shade at night could be nice since its bright very early in the mornings.

Excellent location, with a short walk to the beach and right on the bus routes to most of the popular attractions.

Robert and Lynn are super nice hosts, provided us with so much information and had really nice chats, they even prepared us an extra to go breakfast when we had do leave for the airport early! Really quite and peacfull environment and sorroundings (we even could see baby foxes in the garden at dawn right in the garden in front of our window) Cosy room with everything we needed Freshly prepared scottish breakfast with homemade jam and pancakes and scoones :)

Gutes Frühstück nach Wunsch (schottisch, Continental oder gemischt, Extrawünsche möglich). Die Gastgeber waren extrem nett, sehr hilfsbereit, aber auch humorvoll. Das Zimmer war ausreichend geräumig mit schönem Bad / Toilette,

Lynne und Rob sind sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die immer einen Tipp für Unternehmungen haben und gerne kommunizieren. Das Frühstück war unglaublich lecker und sehr reichhaltig, wir konnten jeden Tag noch etwas für den Tag mitnehmen.

Sehr gutes Frühstück, Großes geräumiges und nett eingerichtetes Zimmer und sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite Vermieter!

Zimmerfenster zur Straßenseite, daher höhere Lärmbelastung! Bei geschlossenen Fenstern aber akzeptabel!

Linnye and Rob are the most genourus hosts one can get. We appreciated their caring hospitality and the tasty, genourus scottish breakfast. The room was quiet, clean with good firm matresses. Bus 26 takes you straight to city senter in 12 min every 10 minutes. Good value for money. Highly reommended!
