Akagera Neighbors

Zimmer ist sehr schön, gross, gut ausgestattet. Warm und fliessend Wasser im Bad - alles tiptop. War sauber. Wir hatten stets eine Ansprechsperson vom Personal, was sehr praktisch war.

Das Essen hat uns leider gar nicht geschmeckt. Die Karte ist sehr minimal. Wir haben local-food bestellt (Mandasi, Chapatti, Samosa) , da sie den meist am Besten kochen, aber leider hatte sie auch dies gar nicht im Griff. Es war alles sehr fettig und geschmacklich nicht überzeugend.

De tuin ziet er heel leuk uit, waar je ook kunt eten.

We hadden twee nachten geboekt en een 4x4 auto gereserveerd om Akagera NP te kunnen bezoeken. ‘s Ochtends vroeg opgestaan, bleek de auto er niet te zijn. Ze waren dit vergeten en konden dit niet meer regelen. Alternatief dat werd aangeboden via een extern bedrijf was 4x zo duur. Niet gedaan, maar daardoor ook het park niet kunnen bezoeken.

Wonderful stay with an exceptional host! We spent one night at Akagera Neighbors and were absolutely delighted. The place was clean, peaceful, and very cozy – a perfect spot to relax near the national park. A special thank you goes to our host Pilote: He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and quick to help with anything we needed. From the warm welcome to organizing small requests with great care – Pilote made our stay truly special. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests’ well-being. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was good and it is in a good location, only 45 mins from Akagera NP. Overall very good.

I think it is slightly overpriced and the bed was quite small for two people.
