Angela made me feel very welcome. The room was clean and comfortable. Toiletries were on hand. Tea and coffee making facilities (with proper size cups!). The breakfast was plentiful and lots to choose from. Would definitely recommend. 5*

TV could be in a better location otherwise I couldn't fault my stay.

"Worth a wee detour for a stay!"

Lovely individualised accommodation with a gorgeous garden and a bit of a sea view. Host was friendly, professional and very welcoming. She directed us to a fantastic local pub for tea. Breakfast was freshly made and there was a great choice. Liked that there was fresh milk and water available for the room. There’s also a selection of books in the hall. Parking available off road. Loved the area, nice walk along the canal.

My only tiny negative would be the amount of furniture in the room- it would be absolutely fine to remove some of it to allow a sense of space. That is personal taste, not a reflection of the owner or property.

"Very enjoyable"

Angela was very helpful, especially when it came to trying to find me somewhere for an evening meal. After phoning two establishments and not getting answers, she made me an adequate meal for a tenner. She allowed me to keep my bike safe, locked in the garage. My room was very nice and spacious. The breakfast was great, with several choices, including porridge for a first course.
