The breakfast was very nice , the shower was good

There could have been heating.

Location is good for activities on campus

Housekeeping was limited to topping up of teas and sugars

The convenience of being on campus was really nice, and having breakfast included was a great bonus. There were so many different options for meals/snacks on campus the rest of the afternoon and evening as well. All of the campus staff were helpful and very kind.

The bed was the least comfortable bed I have ever sat on and slept in. No cushioning at all in the mattress, just metal springs before you hit the hard base of the bed. The room was also very dirty… there were pieces of long blonde hair all over the bedding (that definitely didn’t belong to me). The floor looked like it may have been lightly hoovered at some point(?), but it had bleach stains and patches of dirt all over. The shower was pretty mouldy and the bathroom sink hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The window was covered in loads of dust, dirt, and spiderwebs (and as someone with allergies, this made opening the window not much of an option - during a heatwave, this was not good). Honestly, the whole building just needed a good clean, and I couldn’t tell when the room was last touched at all. For the price, I do feel like it should have been slightly more comfortable and definitely cleaner than it was.

The shower was excellent The property was an excellent base to visit my daughter at the university

My daughter’s bed was super comfy. Mine less so but still ok The base of the table lamp was very dusty. Please give it a wipe.
