Convenient location

Very run down rooms. Not the cleanest.

Right on campus so ideal as a visiting researcher.

There are no lamps in the room.

Good location to visit my son. Clean room. Nice breakfast. Good instructions for getting keys. Glad there was tea making facilities and that they were topped up for me on my second day.

Quite basic for the price. No tv which I was aware of but would have liked. Didn't see any staff as there was no reception so couldn't comment on that.

Breakfast was good, staff friendly, convenient location, comfy beds. Okay based on the price you pay per night, I guess you get what you pay for!

Bathrooms- electric shower is complicated and water temperature can be haphazard, sink is small and was dirty when I arrived, the whole bathroom is very outdated. The floor and toilet also looked like they had not been thoroughly cleaned Would have been nice to have had a TV in the room- unsure why there isn't!! Heating was off which meant room was cold- even though I stayed in spring the Lancaster weather is still cold! Only given one key, having 2 keys would have been useful. Wifi did not work. Weird smell in the wardrobe!

Simple room which is enough enough. The highlight of the room is English breakfast that is served outside of the building, short walk away. The electric kettle in the room is helpful and there is a grocery story nearby.

I didn't have hot water on the first day. I went to the facility management and they offered me another room. However, then suddenly I got hot water, so stayed in my room.

Visiting the Uni, so location was perfect, didn't venture beyond the campus. For an overnight stay, the rooms were comfortable but basic.
